About Plans@Work
Plans@Work is a contemporary business planning method designed by Ian Clark. Ian's frustration with sprawling, error-prone, paper based planning systems led him to create a user friendly, paperless program with far greater functionality. It is relevant to both commercial and not-for-profit organisations.
Our 3-Phased Approach
Planning
This critical process creates the foundation for your organisation's future activities. Plans@Work will facilitate strategic planning workshops to help you define your organisational goals, measurable targets, and the key strategies necessary to achieve them.
Implementing
With a clear vision for the future established, we are now in a position to define your activities for the first year of your participation in Plans@Work. We will help you to assign actions and to nominate timeframes, allowing your organisation to balance its resource allocation across the year. Our simple tutorials will have everyone online and up to speed quickly, utilizing the intuitive monitoring and reporting program.
Tracking
The Plans at Work software program tracks the progress of your agreed activities by:
- Collecting scheduled action updates from all employees to form executive reports for use by the CEO, Board of Management, etc.
- Providing you with graphical action and strategy performance reports.
- Giving you the ability to recall progress by employees or business units from within the program’s powerful database.
About Ian Clark
Ian Clark has been CEO of both small and medium-to-large enterprises, which has given him first-hand experience of the challenges inherent in managing people and goals, and has allowed him the opportunity to research, construct and improve Plans@Work.
As the General manager of Metropolitan Melbourne’s emergency health response system, he needed to successfully manage their $250 million infrastructure, and so established Plans@Work as a comprehensive mechanism to ensure:
- The 2000 employees were aligned to the organisations objectives.
- We were informed regarding the status of our planned agenda.
- That we remained on track, maintaining our ability to deliver critical services the community.
"I’m very excited about this system's capacity to influence organisational culture. It has given the boards and my management teams the opportunity to perform as true strategists. Boards have shifted their focus from operations to policy and goverance issues. Managers stopped micro-managing and set their sights on engaging our people to ensure we achieve exactly what we all decided were the organisations objectives and outcomes." - Ian Clark
